I finally got Linux installed on the laptop (Debian 4.0 – review coming soon). I’ve also been checking Probstisms frequently for an update on “Leopard” but he hasn’t posted a thing???

…Continuing on in my quest to get Linux installed on my newly acquired laptop with wireless networking. My first attempt, using Sabayon Linux, was unsuccessful. My next attempt is to use an old Suse 10 disk I’ve had laying around from a previous desktop install.

I came across a laptop (Compaq Presario 2100) that needed a little TLC. I’m relatively laptop happy right now, but I’ve been yearning for a Linux laptop. My life has changed. I’ve only got two desktops right now – one dedicated as a “family machine” and one dedicated as my three year old son’s machine.
