I drove north on I-15 today and it is bad all the way from 78 up until one exit past Fallbrook. It was like I drove out from under a big, dark cloud. Wait – I did drive out from under a big, dark cloud.

This is a shot of the Mission Road sign in Fallbrook and this is the Northern edge of the Rice Canyon fire. There are currently four major fires burning in San Diego county. San Diego officials said they will post a list of damaged addresses at www.sandiego.gov.

We’ve got several friends that have been evacuated, but so far – no one we know has lost their home. (Fingers crossed.)
